Works great for what I needed for!I love the size. I’ll be able to have more pages in this album than ones that are not oversized. Love words on the front.I have tried to find a binder that would hold a lot of 12 x 12 designer paper, this works perfect for it. Now I no longer have tons of tablets of designer paper stacked on top of each other. I just pull down a binder and thumb thru it and find the paper I want. It's great. I just wish they had color choices..The 12”x12” crafty sheets from the craft stores are a headache to store. They are expensive, reusable and easy to get damages. They are also big, and the left over sheets are in irregular size/shapes…. I finally found inserts that fits 12”x12” sheets and bought this to bind them together. Problem solved! Now I can flip through the inserts and decide which sheets I want to use without worrying damaging them! This album is good to hold 100 of the 4 mil inserts and probably 50 or less fully contented ones.Much better quality than I expected and much sturdier than I thought it would be. I really like the fact it comes with a plastic cover that protects the front and back from scratches. I'm very happy with this binder. Fits my 12x12 page covers perfectly, and the cover is 100% perfect for the scrapbook I'm making. Liked it so much I ordered a second one. I definitely recommend for anyone who is looking for a 3 ring binder for scrapbooking. Only downside is that it's larger than a regular book shelf, so standing it up will likely cause a problem with storage, but its not a deal breaker.Holds A LOT of pages. I use regular photo paper inserts, but on almost every page I have a piece of cardstock in one of the picture slots that's embellished...I wanted to be able to "scrapbook" our wedding & honeymoon without actually scrapbooking it- so I could fit all our pictures in... I have 20 pages in it now and it's maybe a little more than a 1/3 of the way full... if you're doing just pictures, I think you could easily fit 60+ pages in it. Overall it's a nice book, especially for the price, but has a cardboard-like cover- it doesn't have that high quality/fluffy scrapbook feel to it. If the company had more designs that weren't just words on a black background, I absolutely would have bought another one for my dog's pictures...I used 2 different size page inserts (since I started off with a regular album and 2/3's of the way through, realized that the pages weren't all going to fit...I also needed pages that were all vertical and all horizontal so I could keep it in chronological order...you can see in the picture the 12x12 pages sticking out from the 12x10 pages...but it works! And I didn't have to cut any of my pictures this way)Works well for my scrapbooking needsI looked everywhere for a plain 12x12 binder because all my scrapbook pages are 12x12 and I absolutely hate the post bound books - I wanted an actual binder!! I finally found a couple that were binders yet they all had a velvet finish on the outside which I imagine would artract every scrap of anything it came in contact with. This was the only 12x12 I have found that is a binder but also has a slick finish on the outside which won’t attract lent or scrap materials when laying on your workspace! I love it and I would most definitely repurchase it again and again and I might have to soon as this one is fillingGood album, mid range quality.
